Will Ferrell A Crystal Gayle Fan

July 31, 2006--At the recent premiere for his upcoming movie, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, actor Will Ferrell sported a vintage t-shirt bearing the face of one of country's most beloved singers, Crystal Gayle. Via Will, Crystal "appeared" on EXTRA!, Inside Edition, and Entertainment Tonight. Will also wears a Crystal Gayle shirt in the movie, and has said in previous statements, "I loves Crystal Gayle"--thus the reasoning behind the t-shirts.

"I am so thrilled that he is a fan, because I really like his work too," says Crystal. "I can’t believe I am gracing the Hollywood big screen in 2006 and in 2007 I will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is a great honor." In other Crystal Gayle news, she'll be releasing a new "Crystal Gayle Live in Concert" DVD in August.
